So… who are you?

We are The Original Ice Ball Company and we have a huge passion for balls.
Balls in your cocktails, balls in your whiskey, balls in pretty much anything you want to drink! You name it, if you need balls, we’ve got you covered.

Where are you based?

Originally from Sydney, our HQ is now on The Sunshine Coast, Australia.

Why did you create The Original Ice Ball Company?

We started with a problem and wanted to fix it. We started to dabble in the world of all things whiskey. Some people like to drink it neat and others, such as ourselves, wanted to drink it with some ice. And if you’ve ever put ice into a liquid that’s room temperature you’ll know it melts pretty quick. So quick that it severely dilutes your drink and ruins the taste… Turns out this is a common problem that people have when drinking all kinds of spirits. With some research and development, we designed the Ice Ball to help out with this problem. The size and shape of the ball actually means it melts slower, meaning you get to cool down your drink AND savour your precious nectar. Add a pinch of creativity and you can make some pretty cool looking cocktails as well! And so The Original Ice Ball Co was born.
